The
Emergency Management Agency Staff College is situated in the northern
part of Zealand (only 5 kilometres south of Helsingør and Kronborg
Castle and 45 kilometres north of Copenhagen Airport) with the forest in
the backyard and the sea almost in the front yard with a clear view to
Sweden.
The main task of the Emergency Management Agency Staff College is to
manage the development and implementation of education in preparedness
and leadership for leaders and employees from the National Rescue
Preparedness Corps and from the municipal rescue preparedness.
The Staff College is an excellent location for meetings and seminars.
Therefore, the Staff College hires out available rooms to others in the
emergency preparedness and their collaborators. The display of
gastronomically skills, also contributes to this.
When the impressions of a long day at the college need to be digested
you can take a walk in the beautiful forest or along the coast and enjoy
the atmosphere. If the time is available it’s possible to take a walk/or
take the Bus to Kronborg Castle and visit Holger Danske in the casemates.
South of the Staff College (in Humlebæk) you find “Louisiana” Museum for
modern art - one of the most famous museums in Denmark. It houses an
exquisite collection of modern art by international artists such as Arp,
Francis Bacon, Calder, Dubuffet, Max Ernst, Sam Francis, Giacometti,
Kiefer, Henry Moore, Picasso, Rauschenberg and Warhol. |
